No COVID-19 cases detected after 909 tests

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. At the press briefing of the Ministry of Health held at 5pm today, Head of Public Relations, Surveillance and Operational Management Department of the Ministry of Health D.Narangerel reported that no new cases of COVID-19 detected in Mongolia since 11am’s reporting.
In specific, none of the test results came out positive after 98 tests carried out in two laboratories of the National Center for Communicable Diseases and 68 tests carried out in a laboratory in Dornod aimag since 11am today.
Moreover, tests carried out on 909 people who had close contacts with the first case of community transmission in Ulaanbaatar city and none of them tested positive for the virus, while 1394 tests carried on out of 5314 people, who had indirect contacts tested negative.
Surveillance works are underway in Ulaanbaatar city and Selenge aimag.
