‘Mongolia-ROK Partnership-30 Years’ academic conference takes place
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On the occasion of the 30th
anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and
the Republic of Korea, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in collaboration with the ROK
Embassy in Mongolia organized ‘Mongolia-Republic of Korea Partnership-30 Years’
academic conference and a photo exhibition at the Foreign Ministry on October 8.

Intergovernmental Committee Chair D.Sarangerel, Deputy Foreign Minister
B.Munkhjin, and ROK Ambassador Lee Yeo-hong delivered opening remarks at
the anniversary events.
The academic conference was attended by First Ambassador of
Mongolia to ROK B.Urjinlkhundev, Head of Institute of International Affairs of
the Mongolian Academy of Sciences D.Zolboo, Director of School of International
Relations and Public Administration of the National University of Mongolia
S.Battulga, Resident Representative of Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency Jung
Won Joon, and Resident Representative of the Korea International Cooperation
Agency in Mongolia Jo Haeng Lan. The participants delivered presentations on
the current state of Mongolia-ROK relations, the future of bilateral
political, security, trade, investment, economic, and humanitarian cooperation.
Also, as part of the conference, around 100 research works of Mongolian and ROK
researchers were displayed in a book corner.
The exhibition featured photos portraying high-ranking officials who have made contributions to the development of bilateral relations and cooperation. Historical photos from the Foreign Ministry’s archive, ROK Government archive, and collections of scholars and senior diplomats have also been put on public display for the first time.
