Permanent representative addresses at UN High-level meeting

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Mongolia’s Permanent Representative
to the United Nations V.Enkhbold delivered address at the UN High-level meeting
to commemorate and promote the International Day for the Total Elimination of
Nuclear Weapons on October 2.
In his speech, Mr. Enkhbold pointed out that the use of
nuclear weapons causes a serious threat to the existence of humankind and
civilization, therefore the only way to eliminate the threat of nuclear war is
to get rid of and totally eliminate nuclear weapons.
At the high-level meeting, President of the 75th Session of
the UN General Assembly Volkan Bozkir, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, and
representatives of more than 100 UN member states and nongovernmental
organizations expressed their positions.
