Olympic champion elected as President of National Olympic Committee

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. At an irregular meeting of the members of the Mongolian National Olympic Committee convened on August 14, Mr. Tuvshinbayar Naidan, Olympic Champion and Honored Athlete of Mongolia, was elected as the President of the Mongolian Olympic Committee with 96.4 percent votes.
Judoka N.Tuvshinbayar won numerous medals from international, continental, world championships and Olympic Games, including a gold medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, silver medal at Summer Olympic Games in London, a gold medal at the Asian Games, and another gold at the Asian Judo Championships in 2014.
