Deputy Labor Minister meets TIKA Program Coordinator

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Deputy Minister of Labor and Social
Protection S.Zulfikar met with Program Coordinator of the Turkish Cooperation
and Coordination Agency (TİKA) in Ulaanbaatar Emrah Ustaomer. The sides discussed ways to organize occupational health and safety training and work together
on projects amid the global pandemic.
Deputy Minister S.Zulfikar congratulated the Mr Emrah Ustaomer on the one-year extension of his appointment to Ulaanbaatar and expressed
his pleasure to be working together with an agency that operates in line with
the Labor Ministry’s objectives. He also noted that Turkey has been
successfully saving jobs and protecting the labor market amid COVID-19.
The sides talked about organizing a virtual
experience sharing event to learn from Turkey’s experience in creating opportunities
for employment amid the pandemic.
The Turkish side showed an
interest in working with the Labor Ministry on many more projects and programs.
