TÜBA holds video conference regarding the Museum of Chinggis Khaan
Society
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA) and the Embassy of Mongolia in Turkey jointly organized a video conference to exchange views on the possibilities of cooperation in establishing the Musem of Chinggis Khaan in Mongolia.
Ambassador R.Bold and the President of the Turkish Academy of Sciences Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Seker have delivered opening speeches. The conference was chaired by a member of the TUBA, Prof. Dr. Feridun M. Emecen and attended by over 20 scholars, representing 11 universities of Turkey.
The participants in the conference provided information on historical and cultural heritages and artifacts related to Mongolia being kept in Turkey and exchanged views on the issues to be considered on the establishment of the museum.
Keikubat University in Alanya, the TÜBA and the Embassy of Mongolia have agreed to co-organize a research conference under the aforementioned topic within 2020.
