Education Ministry and Save the Children to empower rural youth

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports signed a memorandum of cooperation with Save the Children Japan to jointly implement a project ‘Entrepreneurship-Focused Socioemotional Skills for Vulnerable Youth in Rural Mongolia’ funded by Japan Social Development Fund.


Signing the memorandum, Deputy Minister of Education, Culture, Science and Sports G.Ganbayar said, “There has been criticism of the lack of skills of young graduates at work. Thank you for initiating a project that would contribute to educational reform in the country. I am confident that the project will be fruitful.”


‘Entrepreneurship-Focused Socioemotional Skills for Vulnerable Youth in Rural Mongolia’ aims to improve academic achievements of students and prepare them for business careers by providing socioemotional skills.
