Exequatur granted to Consul General of China to Zamyn-Uud

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On April 28, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia D.Davaasuren presented an exequatur to Li Yangjun, Consul General of the People's Republic of China to Zamyn-Uud.
Expressing his satisfaction with the appointment of the Consul General, who knows Mongolia well and has worked in Mongolia for many years, State Secretary D.Davaasuren noted his confidence in bilateral relations, especially in border areas, and local cooperation will continue to expand.
For his part, the Consul General Li Yangjun noted that Mongolia-China relations are at its historic peak and said that he is delighted that his mission as Consul General coincides with the beginning of the rapid development of bilateral relations.
State Secretary D.Davaasuren said “It is important for countries around the world to work together, join forces, share knowledge and experience, and support each other in the fight against COVID-19. Donating test kits and other related equipment, masks and protective equipment and sharing treatment experiences through video conferences is raising the Mongolia’s efficiency to fight against the pandemic.”
Moreover, he noted that Mongolia and China have established a cooperation mechanism to combat and prevent COVID-19 and he expressed readiness to continue economic cooperation between the two countries during this situation caused by the pandemic and work closely with China to overcome the difficulties.
Consul General Li Yangjun thanked the State Secretary and pledged to work closely with the Mongolian side to expand cooperation at the regional and local levels.
