Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The following decisions were made during the Cabinet meeting held on December 25:
- Minister of Finance Ch.Khurelbaatar was authorized to sign a loan agreement on ‘Improving access to health services to disadvantaged groups investment program I’. The project will be comprised of three parts and jointly carried out by the Government of Mongolia and the Asian Development Bank. USD 158 million will be disbursed from the ADB. In the first phase of the project or in 2019-2024, a hospital in Khan-Uul district will be renovated as a model hospital and extension works will be done in general hospitals of two aimags. Moreover, four family health centers in ger area of the capital city will become model centers and general hospitals in five soums will be rebuilt.
-Minister of Energy Ts.Davaasuren and Governor of the capital city S.Amarsaikhan were obliged to put permanent control on reserve and distribution of refined fuel. As of today, over 41 thousand tons of refined fuel were reserved.
- The Cabinet resolved to finance 19 construction projects to be realized in environment and tourism industry in 2020-2024 from state and local budgets and with loans and assistance from international organizations and through public and private partnership. MNT 1.7 trillion will be spent on the projects and programs.
- According to the preliminary harvest balance of 2019, 424 thousand tons of grain were harvested, of which 407 thousand tons were wheat. Furthermore, 191 thousand tons of potatoes, 95 thousand tons of vegetables, 35 thousand tons of oil plants and 120 thousand tons of fodder plants were harvested.
