Capital city governor meets representatives of Puxiang Bioenergy

On December 16, Governor of the capital city and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar
S.Amarsaikhan met with representatives of the Puxiang Bioenergy Co., Ltd.
The sides exchanged views on building a 50 MW thermal power station that generates electricity from rubbish in Nalaikh district. Dai Daoguo, Chair of Board of Directors of the Chinese company, said, “Our waste-to-energy plant has a daily incinerating capacity of 5,000 tons of waste and can produce over 500 kWh of electricity per year using a 100MW steam turbine. We lead the country with our service quality. We are now conducting research to establish a waste recycling plant based on our experience in the field,” and put a request to cooperate in the field

S.Amarsaikhan thanked the Chinese side for visiting Ulaanbaatar, placing emphasis
on the issue of waste recycling, and putting proposal for cooperation and
expressed readiness to cooperate while mentioning the Ulaanbaatar city
government is conducting diverse studies on the matter.
