SDC team of experts works at NEMA

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The National Emergency Management Agency and the Swiss Agency for Cooperation and Development (SDC) are co-implementing a project, ‘Improving the National Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) capacities of Mongolia’. In the framework of the project, a search and rescue training center is to be established at the National Rescue Brigade of NEMA, and training instructors will be prepared. 

 

In aims of becoming acquainted with the operations and plans for the project, a team of Swiss rescue experts are working at NEMA. Consisting of four sub-working groups for construction work, training, equipment and administration, the project team worked over the course of November 18 to 22.
