Auto road connecting Uvs aimag with Ulaanbaatar city opens

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The Ministry of Road and Transport Development reports that a construction of 135.7 km auto road along the Songino-Khyargas Lake in Uvs aimag was commissioned, connecting the aimag with the capital city. This is the part of the government development works to build paved roads from the far western regions to Ulaanbaatar city. 


The new road enables residents from 19 soums of Uvs aimag, eastern part of Bayan-Ulgii aimag, northern part of Khovd aimag and some regions of Zavkhan aimag to travel safely, efficiently and comfortably.
