‘Water and Mining’ data hackathon to be heldEnvironment
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ From Disclosure to Development (D2D) Program of the International Finance Corporation is to organize a 'Water and Mining’ data hackathon on October 19-20 at HUB Innovation Center with aims to hold public discussion based on proof in a way of supporting use of open data and information related to natural wealth, upgrade investment environment and render support on increasing positive impact of development based on natural wealth.
A participant team to the data hackathon is required to be consisted of 4-6 members and youths of various sectors such as web development, graphic design, journalism and environment are available to take part.
The teams will compete as choosing one topic out of 10 that were defined within the general topic, studying and processing open data for 30 hours and making a solution for the problem. Experienced experts of the sector will advise to the teams during hackathon.
