Views exchanged on broadening cooperation in health sector

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On September 9, Governor of the Capital City S.Amarsaikhan received Vice Mayor of Essen city of the Federal Republic of Germany Peter Renzel.


In aims of developing health sector and expanding collaboration, Ulaanbaatar city and Essen city established a cooperation agreement in 2012. Following the agreement, over 130 physicians and nurses of Mongolian medical institutes visited Germany to learn from their experiences. Furthermore, German physicians and nurses are coming to Mongolia four to five times a year to give counsel.


Governor of the capital city S.Amarsaikhan said that he is contented with collaborative works in health sector have been broadening year to year. Moreover, it is pleasant that cooperation scope is to be expanded in education sector from this year. We will be open to broaden cooperation in order to make the project results on protecting our people’s health, more successful.  


‘We paid attention on training disinfection specialists and emergency physicians in the past. Further, we have willingness to focus on training of physicians and hospital staffs,’ noted Mr. Peter Renzel.
