Bayan-Ulgii aimag exports 411.1 tons of meat in 2018

Bayan-Ulgii /MONTSAME/ Companies and entities of Bayan-Ulgii aimag exported a total of 411.1 tons of meat in 2018.
Senior Inspector of the Department of Metrology and Standard of the aimag R.Gulizada gave details that Zerger International Company exported 391 tons of meat to Iran while Et Transit Company exported 20 tons of horse meat classifying and packaging to Republic of Kazakhstan, which was increased by 289.1 tons compared to the previous year. The number of exported meats equaled to 30 thousand head of sheep and 200 head of horse.
Moreover, Zerger International Company is ready to export 100 tons of sheep meat according to the official.
In addition, locals of Bayan-Ulgii aimag consumed a total of 212809 head of livestock for food and 458656 head of livestock were sold in the market and to local meat producers.
