B.Budjargal wins ultramarathon

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. IM B.Budjargal has won 1st place in the 6-day event of the Across The Years multiday running event, which took place in Arizona, USA.  


He ran a total of 787 km, winning the gold medal. In the same event, IM D.Ganbat also participated and ranked 26th. A total of about 300 runners from over 30 countries took part in the ultramarathon.


In the 6-day event, participants are to continuously make laps around the 1,600 m track for 6 days and 6 nights.The runners are ranked accordingly to the amount of track they covered.
