First 4D book ‘Animal studies’ released

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/  ‘Animal studies’, the first book of the ‘Kids science’ 4D book series based on AR (augmented reality) technology was released within the framework of the creative works towards society on the occasion of 25th anniversary of the Mongolian Foundation of Science and Technology (MFST).

The book was created by the national content producer start up ‘Argun’. With the ‘4D Animals’ app it is possible to see the animal, its habitats, offsprings, nutrition and unique characteristics in 3D by scanning the animal image on the book with smart phone camera. The app will allow children take a trip to wonderful world of abstract and realistic dimensions.

“Man is an animal of nature, who constantly explores the world and nature. Our first issue targeted to children between 2-12 years is the very first book  using advances of IT,” said director of the MFST, Dr. D.Enkhjargal.
The book is aimed at developing children’s interest in science.
