Imports of air purifier and energy-efficient heater exempted from taxes

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ The Parliament made a final discussion of the Bill to amend the Law on Air and other related bills and passed them at its January 12 plenary meeting.
The bills reflected issues to establish a special fund on reducing air pollution and exempting imported air purifiers and energy efficient heaters from customs duty and value added tax.
As majority of MPs voted for adoption of the law, the tax exemption comes into effect from January 12.
