Digitalization of public services to be intensified

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ A Policy Council on Information Technology (PCIT) held its meeting on January 9. At the meeting, G.Zandanshatar, Head of the Cabinet Secretariat and chief of the PCIT, assigned the members to intensify actions to make public service to be a citizen-centered, digitalize public service and put it into use.
During the meeting, the council discussed issues, including the utilization of ‘Khur’ state information exchange system and increasing use of digital signature. As of today, national data center, fibre optics network of soums, ‘Khur’ state information exchange system, identity card of citizens, 11 11 center, public service online machines are operating. They build a basement to give digital and one-window public services with help of information technology.
Developing e-governance will allow citizens to get public services easily regardless of time and distance. In addition, a digitalization of public service will make public service transparent, eliminate red tape and corruption and save time and man-force.
