Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Snowfall and snow storm are expected in most parts of western aimags and western parts of central aimags on December 28.
Strong wind storm will occur most of the time, reaching 12-14 m/sec in eastern and central parts of western; eastern and gobi aimags on December 29, in western parts of the country on December 30 and in northern parts of the country on December 31. It will get stronger temporarily, reaching 18-20m/sec in Altai Mountains and gobi aimags.
The weather is expected to get warmer most of the regions in the daytime on December 28, but it will get colder further.
In the depressions of Darkhad and Lake Uvs, the valleys of Ider and Tes, Kharaa, Yuruu, Tuul, Kherlen, Onon, Ulz and Khalk rivers, the nighttime temperature will be -35-40 Celsius, and the daytime, -25-30.
In the head of Zavkhan river, mountainous areas of Khuren belcher, Khangai, Khuvsgul, Khentii, the nighttime temperature will be -30-35, and the daytime, -18-23,
In southern parts of gobi region, the nighttime temperature will be -16-21, and the daytime, -8-13.
In other regions, the nighttime temperature will be -24-29, and the daytime, -13-18 Celsius.
