Fire prevention campaign launched

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Emergency Management Department of Ulaanbaatar launched Wednesday a campaign to intensify fire prevention works in the capital city as households started to burn raw coal for heating in ger districts.

Fire prevention measures will be taken in all nine districts of the capital city until December 8, conducting inspections in ger districts on potential dangers to safety, including distance between gers and buildings, littering of fuel ashes, the usage of insecure stoves and faulty electric wiring.
