MP D.Terbishdagva meets Chinese Ambassador

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ MP D.Terbishdagva, Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Economy received Xing Haiming, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Mongolia at the State House. The sides exchanged views on economic cooperation development of the two countries.
At the beginning of the meeting, MP D.Terbishdagva noted “After the historic visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping in 2014, the sides established a strategic partnership agreement and have conducted several high level meetings on economy and politics relations”. He also noted that several major projects have been implemented within the framework of the bilateral visits and expressed Mongolia’s intention in cooperating actively on “Belt and Road” strategic project. Furthermore, the MP requested the Ambassador’s support in speeding up the deposit of Ex-Im Bank of China’s USD 1 billion soft loans.
Chinese Ambassador to Mongolia Xing Haiming responded “Considering Mongolia’s interest in the joint projects of the two countries is of great importance. I share same opinion with Mr. D.Terbishdagva in expediting the joint projects” and exchanged views on current issues of developing economic cooperation.
