PM J.Erdenebat meets Philippine President and Cambodian PM during his visit to China

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ J.Erdenebat, Prime Minister of Mongolia met with Rodrigo Duterte, President of the Philippines to discuss on development of bilateral relations and cooperation between Mongolia and the Philippines. After mentioning his fond of reading histories of Chinggis Khaan and Kublai Khaan, President Rodrigo Duterte expressed his willingness to help Mongolia to maintain a close partnership with ASEAN.

Highlighting the possibilities of Mongolia and the Philippines to cooperate in the agricultural sector, Prime Minister J.Erdenebat noted that it is important to establish bilateral ties to connect Mongolian and Philippine small and medium sized enterprises.

The same day, PM J.Erdenebat held an official meeting with Hun Sen, Prime Minister of Cambodia. The dignitaries exchanged views ways to develop bilateral relations and economic cooperation as the two nations established diplomatic relations in 1960. Also, the Mongolia’s side expressed its readiness to learn from Cambodia's experiences, achievement and challenges of a Free Trade Agreement established with China.
 
Afterwards, the Cambodian side underlined that Cambodia has a wide opportunity to establish cooperation ties with Mongolian companies and to supply rice to Mongolia in order to increase bilateral trade turnover.  

In conclusion, the Prime Ministers of Mongolia and Cambodia agreed to develop two countries' small and medium sized enterprises through collaboration in areas of education, food, agriculture, culture and tourism, organizing reciprocal visits of representatives of Foreign Ministries and legislative bodies of Mongolia and Cambodia and establish a Joint Committee.
