Official exchange rate of US dollar equals to MNT 2489.53

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ As of January 2, an official exchange rate of the US dollar announced by the Central Bank of Mongolia was equal to MNT 2489.53.

By 3 pm, USD 1 was sold for MNT 2,496 at the Golomt Bank. The same rate was observed at  other commercial banks such as “TDB” or Trade and Development Bank and “Khan Bank”. Meanwhile, people were buying USD 1 for MNT 2,490 and were selling USD 1 for MNT 2,493 at the Naiman sharga currency exchange market.
