Distinguished Children of 2016 receive awards
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Twenty of the most successful children distinguished by their accomplishments in studies, arts, sports and humanities have been awarded the “Distinguished of the Year” certificates by the National Council for Children and the government implementing agency the Department of Family, Children and Youth Development.
The Prime Minister of Mongolia, Mr J.Erdenebat handed the awards on December 27. He extended new year’s greetings and said “Mongolia’s future looks brighter than ever as I look at your faces. I am truly grateful that you are growing up to be educated, talented and skilled citizens of Mongolia”. He wished the children to be respected citizens of our mother land and graceful children for your parents.
Among the awardees were, the champions of national and international Olympiads of mathematics, a finalist of the Mongolia’s Got Talent 2016 show, a world champion of 10x10 Draughts, world champions of mind sports, as well as the kids who rescued lives from fire and the children who initiated and organized charity and humanitarian works.
