Nearly MNT 60 billion granted from Social Welfare Fund
EconomyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In the first five months of 2016, a total of MNT 59.9 billion was granted to 199.1 thousand people for pensions and welfare benefits from the Social Welfare Fund. Number of people, receiving pensions and welfare allowances increased by 7.2 thousand or 3.7 percent and the amount of pensions and allowances decreased by MNT 347.7 million or 0.6 percent compared to same period of the previous year.
In the first 5 months of this year, 101.5 billion MNT was granted from the Human Development Fund to 1012.6 thousand children aged below 18 as cash benefits.
