Trade turnover decreases by 11 percent
EconomyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ As of the end of May 2016, total trade turnover amounted to 2,946.7 million MNT (1.492 million USD), indicating a decrease of 369.6 million MNT or 11 percent compared to the same period of last year.
The change reflected decreases in exports of 94.7 million USD or 5.1% and in imports of 275.0 million USD or 19%.
In the reporting period, value of exports exceeded import value by 602.6 million USD, resulting in positive trade balance and improving the balance by 180.3 million USD against the same period of the previous year.
