Park Geun-hye welcomes Mongolian President
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On an official visit to the Republic of Korea, the Mongolian President Ts.Elbegdorj was officially welcomed by his South Korean counterpart Park Geun-hye on Thursday.
The national anthems of both countries were played when the Mongolian President arrived at the Blue House after Chief of the Guard of Honor gave salute to him. Then, Elbegdorj signed the Note of Honored Guests.
The welcoming ceremony was witnessed by L.Purevsuren, the Mongolian Minister of Foreign Affairs; B.Ganbold, the Ambassador of Mongolia to South Korea, Yoo IL Ho, the South Korean Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Strategy and Finance; Yun Byung-se, the Minister of Foreign Affairs; and other officials.
After the ceremony, the Presidents of the countries held official talks and attended a ceremony of signing cooperation documents. It was followed by a banquet held by the South Korean President in honor of her Mongolian counterpart.
