Presidential Office urges universities and institutes to collaborate in ASEM Summit

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Presidential Office organized an event last Friday for inviting university students to voluntary works within the forthcoming 11th ASEM Summit in Ulaanbaatar.

After talking about the ASEM and the Summit’s preparation works, the Presidential Office Head emphasized that the 11th ASEM Summit in UB is going to be the largest political event since 1600s.

“This is great honor to hold the ASEM Summit and it is a big responsibility to Mongolia. It is fully supported by media, all people, political parties and accommodation companies. This is also coincided with the 810th anniversary of the Great Mongolian Empire, the 95th anniversary of the People’s Revaluation and the parliamentary election of Mongolia,” Mr Tsagaan said.

He urged to collaborate in a successful organization of the Summit that will attract 800-1,000 journalists and some 4,000 foreign delegates, and wished Mongolian universities and institutes made this big event successful. Voluntary works are expected to need 1,200-1,500 people, he added.

In turn, authorities of universities and institutes promised to contribute to a successful hosting of the ASEM Summit in Ulaanbaatar.
