Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ According to the Bank of Mongolia (BoM), current account deficit stands at USD 547.9 million, representing decrease of 61 percent or USD 857.1 from the same period of the previous year.

This is due to increase in surplus of trade in goods by 24 percent or USD 241.2 million while deficit on trade in services declined by 43 percent or USD 668.2 million.

Capital and financial accounts show surplus of USD 479.2 million, decrease of 55 percent or USD 582.8 million against the previous year as a result of less utilization of enterprises’ external loans and deduction in trade credit payables from 2014.
