“Development of financial market” nat’l forum begins
EconomyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A national forum themed “Development of financial market” launched Friday in the State House.
Co-organized by the Standing committee on economy, the Ministry of Finance, the Finance Regulatory Committee (FRC) and the Bank of Mongolia (BoM), the forum is aiming to consider all issues of micro-finance, insurance, capital market, correlation of the financial sector, its stability, effects of economic growth, augmenting an adequacy, and upgrading the legal environment.
Opening remarks were made by Z.Enkhbold, the Speaker of parliament, speeches were delivered by S.Bayartsogt, head of the Cabinet Secretariat for Government; Z.Narantuya, the FRC chair; and Robert Schoellhammer, the Permanent Representative of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to Mongolia.
Being chaired by Ts.Bayarsaikhan, a head of the Standing committee on economy, a plenary meeting of the forum titled “Long-term development of Mongolia, developmental strategy for financial market” will be given reports about concept on long-term and sustainable development and role of the financial market in the market economy by S.Bayartsogt, reducing poverty rate by increasing financial adequacy by S.Demberel MP, a development strategy of financial market by Z.Narantuya, the FRC chair, and prospects of budget policy by B.Bolor, the Minister of Finance.
In the next part, the forum will continue under a theme “Law and development of financial market” under chairmanship of L.Bold MP. Reports will be delivered “Issue of making Ulaanbaatar financial center, experience of Dubai” by E.Temuulen, head of the City’s Department of Economy and Investment, “Financial disputes at court process” by Ch.Onortsetseg, a section head of the General Authority for Implementing Court Decisions, and “Role of lawyers in development of financial market” by B.Bayar.
In addition, four sub-meetings will run at the State House’s halls”.
