Ulaanbaatar Art Fair approaches
Art & CultureUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ An annual exhibition and auction of fine arts named “Ulaanbaatar Art Fair” is to be held on September 25-30. The event aims to promote tourism development in the capital city, support the artist and help them commercialize their artworks.
Main organized of the art fair of the UB City Department for Arts and Culture.
This year’s event is coinciding with the World Tourism Day, observed on September 27.
In the course of these five days, art galleries, exhibit halls and the walls of high-class hotels will be “decorated” with Mongolia’s distinguished fine art creations. Moreover, some advertisement boards will also display some artworks in order for the ordinary citizens to be able to enjoy artworks.
In frames of the action, students from art schools will give presentations to and organize discussions with the senior pupils of the general education schools.
