Money to be allotted for transporting pardoned home

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At the cabinet meeting on Monday, the Minister of Finance was authorized to allot money from the reserved fund for transporting convicts home after they will be released and for other expenses.

Some convicts are expected to be released soon in conjunction with adoption of the law on amnesty on occasion of the 25th anniversary of the first democratic elections and permanent parliament of Mongolia. It has been calculated that 155.1 million Togrog will be required to buy clothes for 676 people, to deliver 1,537 people to their localities, and to pass 725 to local police sections.
