On January 31, the Ministry of Health in partnership with the WHO Representative Office in Mongolia held a medical team meeting of the United Nations affiliated organizations in conjunction with current state of the spread of new coronavirus in the world and in Mongolia, ongoing actions and further issues to be resolved.

Bone spoons found to have been used by Ancient Mongolians 3,800 years ago
Spoons are said to have been used during the time of ancient Egypt, and the Shang dynasty as early as 4,000 years ago. In correlation with the matter, it has been found that ancient Mongolians used to make spoons out of bones, which traces back at least 3,800 years ago, from the findings discovered by a research team of the Archeology Department of Ulaanbaatar State University.
Parents to be allowed paid leave to nurse their flu-infected children
The Cabinet, with its resolution No. 30 dated January 26, instructed the heads of state-owned organizations to entitle their employees - parents and guardians - with children affected by flu or flu-like illnesses to paid leave of up to five days and recommended the same to private sector organizations.
