Customs administration works to promptly pass face masks through border checkpoints
Mongolia has been taking preventive measures regarding 2019-nCoV spread. As face masks have been in high demand recently, the Customs General Administration is striving to promptly bring in the face masks and other protective equipment, sent to aid coronavirus prevention efforts. MIAT not to transport foreign nationals from Beijing and Hong Kong
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. In connection with the government’s decision to temporarily impose travel restrictions, banning Chinese and foreign nationals to enter Mongolia through borders checkpoints with China by auto vehicles, trains and airplanes from February 1 until March 2, 2020, Mongolian National flag carrier MIAT Mongolian Airlines announced that it will not be able to transport foreign nationals on its flights from Beijing and Hong Kong to Ulaanbaatar during this period.
Mongolia evacuates its 31 citizens from Wuhan
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. A charter flight of the MIAT Mongolian Airlines carrying 31 Mongolian nationals from Wuhan, the epicenter of coronavirus, landed at the Chinggis Khaan International Airport on February 1, Saturday.
