Japan and UNICEF to Implement Project Improving Sanitation and Hygiene in Flood-Prone Ulaanbaatar Areas
On April 2, 2024, UNICEF hosted the Launching Ceremony of a Project to Improve Sanitation and Hygiene in Flood-Prone Areas of the city at the UN Building in Ulaanbaatar. The project, funded by a USD 1.8 million from the Government of Japan, will be implemented by UNICEF.

For the First Time, Mongolia Receives Double Bronze at the FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup
The FIBA Asia Cup 2024 took place in Singapore on March 27-31, 2024. A total of 23 men's teams and 20 women's teams competed in the tournament. Australia emerged victorious, securing two gold medals. Notably, the Mongolian National 3x3 men's and women's teams made history by winning two bronze medals, marking the first time Mongolia has achieved such success in the tournament.
