Save the Children Australia Representatives Working in Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar, April 1, 2024. /MONTSAME/.  The Global Partnership for Education has provided a USD 5 million grant to support Mongolia's mid-term education development plan. This funding enables the implementation of the "Enabling Equity to Advance Learning" project, which will run until 2025.

 

Save the Children Australia and Save the Children Japan act as Grant Agents for the project. On March 28, 2024, State Secretary of the Ministry of Education and Science of Mongolia Kh. Batjargal received representatives from the Grant Agents. The discussion focused on the project's implementation, scope, and necessary organizational adjustments. The State Secretary expressed gratitude for the flexible cooperation of Save the Children Australia and Save the Children Japan in Mongolia for effectively implementing the project in line with the ongoing education sector reforms.

 

Caroline Keenan from the project team, expressed her satisfaction with the excellent cooperation and coordination among the parties implementing the project. She affirmed that Save the Children Australia would provide all-round support for the project.
