Construction work of 11 power plants to start this year
The Ministry of Energy has planned to build and expand 11 power plants this year and it was included in the socio-economic development guidelines of Mongolia in 2018. Most of the project investments are resolved at this time.

The second forum entitled ‘Smogless Ulaanbaatar’ co-organized by Bloomberg TV Mongolia and the Governor’s Office of the capital city was held today. More than 200 people attended the forum and discussed measures to reduce the air pollution, further works, outcomes and solutions.

International civil-military relations course takes place
An international civil-military relations course for officers co-organized with the Canadian Armed Forces is taking place in Ulaanbaatar. More than 50 soldiers from 13 countries are participating in the course. The attendants will be trained to serve in the international peacekeeping activities and other military operations.
