The administration of Tomsk Oblast of the Russian Federation together with professors and scientists of the Tomsk State University and Tomsk Polytechnic University have collected over 2500 books to present to the Russian language center of Uvs aimag.

A training on introducing comprehensive waste management and practice takes place
A training themed ‘Method for implementing comprehensive waste management’ and the 3rd board meeting of Regional project on introducing environmental friendly practice, technology, methods for open burning activity which is being implemented by the UN Industrial Development Organization and Global Environment Fund within the framework of Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) was organized on February 27-March 3 in Manila, Philippine.

All babies of Ulaanbaatar to get vaccinated
From March 1, 2-month babies started being given the Pneumococcal Vaccine 13-valent (PCV13) in Bayangol, Baganuur, Bagakhangai, Nalaikh, Khan-Uul and Chingeltei districts, according to a resolution of Health Minister.

Non-standard toilets to be banned in Special Protected Areas
The Ministry of Environment and Tourism bans use of non-standard toilets in Special Protected Areas starting from June 1, 2018. Regarding the decision five recommendations and official letters have been sent to the Special Protected Area Administrations since last April.
