ECMO apparatus installed at State Central First Hospital
In frames of the works to ensuring preparedness in a time of the spread of novel coronavirus and improving quality of hospital aid and service, Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) apparatus, an extracorporeal technique of providing prolonged cardiac and respiratory support, has been handed over to the State Central First Hospital by the order of the Ministry of Health with financing from the State Emergency Commission.

“Switch Off Air Pollution” technical procedures included in implementation of new Thermal Insulation regulations
Technical procedures including Technical Assessment and Quality monitoring implementation form developed by Switch Off Air Pollution, an European Union’s Switch Asia project led by French NGO Geres, are now included in the Construction Codes and Standards on Building Envelope Thermal Insulation of Mongolia.

Vehicles of health and police departments renewed

COVID-19 antibody test developed by Mongolian researchers to be introduced
Under the supervision of academician Ts.Oyunsuren and Dr. D.Gantulga, the test was developed by a joint team of researchers from the Laboratory of Molecular Biology at the Institute of Biology of Mongolian Academy of Sciences, the Virology Laboratory of National Center for Communicable Diseases, and the Department of Biology at National University of Mongolia.
