Mongolian youth ballet dancers grab 8 medals
The first Russian-Japanese and Eurasian ballet competition took place in Ulan-Ude, Russia on April 29 - May 5. Ballet dancers of the State Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet of Mongolia participated in the international competition and won eight medals.
Action film with Mongolian actors premieres in Kazakhstan
The action film, ‘Mongolian Connection’, has premiered in movie theatres in Kazakhstan. With actors from eight countries (U.S, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Germany, U.K, Australia and Canada) as the cast, the film features B.Amarsaikhan, who has recently won the best producer award at Cinema Awards-2019 in Mongolia.

624 hectares of forest area allocated to forest unit of Umnugobi aimag
Since 2007, the Greenbelt Plantation Project has been jointly implemented by the Governments of Mongolia and the Republic of Korea to mitigate dust and sandstorms and combat desertification. With the first phase of the project successfully implemented, Mongolian Minister of Environment and Tourism N.Tserenbat, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Mongolia Jeong Jae Nam and the Greenbelt Project's coordinator signed the agreement to transfer the 624 hectares of land, in which are 100 hectares of forest area, 500 hectares of restored saxaul forest and 24 hectares of tree nursery, and its training center to the Local Forest Unit.
Mongolian children attend international event
n the frameworks of the Belt and Road Initiative of China, an international children’s event took place on April 12-25 for the second year.
