Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh confirmed S.Amarsaikhan, who received majority of the votes from the representatives of Citizens’ Representatives’ Khural, as the new Governor of the capital city.
Italian Mongolian Textile Technology Center to be established
The Mongolian Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry and the Ministry of Economic Development of Italy have created a Letter of Intent on Cooperation in Textile Industry. On February 26, the Letter of Intent was signed by Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry Mr Ch.Ulaan from the Mongolian side and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Italy to Mongolia Mr. Andrea De Felip from the Italian side.
‘Free museum days’ to be held on March 1-3
‘Free museum days’ event will be organized on March 1-3 according to the winter schedule. In order to prevent the spread of influenza, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports provided direction to museums not to serve children under 10 and do cleaning every two hours.
Outcomes of privatization since 1992 to be examined
A working group to examine the outcomes of privatization started in 1992 was established at the Order of the Head of Cabinet Secretariat Mr L.Oyun-Erdene. The working group meeting was held on February 25th at the State House.

'Protein' rendering plant inaugurated
On February 15, the meat and bone meal and animal fat rendering plant, ‘Protein’ was inaugurated in Emeelt village. The plant has a daily capacity to render 24 tons of meat and bone meal and 17 tons of animal fat.
