Ulaanbaatar to establish brotherhood relations with Kazan city of Russia

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. During the ‘Ulaanbaatar International Day-2019’ event, Governor of the Capital City and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar S.Amarsaikhan received Secretary-General of UCLG-Eurasia Rasikh Sagitov.
The United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG) is a partner organization of the United Nations that works on appropriately solving pressing issues of cities, and increasing citizen participation. Secretary-General of UCLG-Eurasia Rasikh Sagitov said, “Our organization is ready to partner in solving socio-economic issues. Furthermore, we propose to partner with Ulaanbaatar city by giving advice on reflecting the global development trend in the general development plan for the city until 2040. Thus, I believe that a Memorandum of Cooperation should be established between the two cities.”
Governor S.Amarsaikhan thanked Mr. Rasikh Sagitov for attending the ‘Ulaanbaatar International Day 2019’ event, and expressed that the city executives will comprehensively support further development of partnership.
