E-government practice of Estonia shared

/MONSTAME/ A Mongolian delegation led by Head of the Cabinet Secretariat L.Oyun-Erdene
worked in Tallinn, the Republic of Estonia between September 25 and 30.
The working visit aimed to cooperate in increasing citizens’ participation in policy making through the advancements in communications technology, providing public services and information in transparent, adequate, and prompt manner regardless of time and place, and developing an e-government system.
During their
visit, the delegates held meetings with Estonian MPs and authorities of the
country’s Cabinet Secretariat, e-Governance Academy, Centre of Registers and
Information Systems, and e-Estonia Briefing Centre. They also met with Ambassador at Large for Digital Affairs of the Estonian
Ministry of Foreign Affairs Tonis Nirk, informing that a number of actions such
as introduction of e-governance system and strategies for digitizing public services are planned to be implemented.
