Oxygen plant to be established in Khovd aimag
Society
Khovd/MONTSAME/. Capacity building project for Khovd aimag’s regional diagnosis and treatment center (RDTC) is under implementation within Mongolia-Belgium intergovernmental cooperation.
Within the
framework, it is expected this month to commence construction work of a plant
which will be capable of supplying Khovd aimag’s hospitals with oxygen gas
system.
Specifically,
the oxygen plant, which will be the first of its kind in the western region, will
provide the RDTC with oxygen of 93-99 percent purity.
In this regard,
training on capacity building of medical staff, utilization of oxygen gas
equipment and safety operations was held in Belgium, in which T. Ariunzaya,
engineer of RDTC, attended.
