Minister Kh.Badelkhan attends Sector Ministers’ Meeting

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Construction and Urban Planning Kh.Badelkhan attended Sector Ministers’ Forum, which took place in San Jose city of Costa Rica, jointly organized by the Government of Costa Rica, UNICEF’s water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) and the Inter-American Development Bank.
Ministers and Government representatives of 59 countries and over 400 delegates participated in the forum held under the theme ‘Leave No One Behind’, discussing ways, funding and mutual accountability mechanism targeted to ensuring access to water, sanitation and hygiene.
Minister Kh.Badelkhan delivered a presentation on current condition, further objectives, policies and challenges in water and sanitation facilities and hygiene sector in Mongolia and underlined citizens' favorable living conditions will be created by empowering personnel in the sector and increasing access to infrastructure services.
UNICEF’s water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) expressed to cooperate in all possible ways and to render assistance for realization of Sustainable Development Goal 6.
