Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ ‘Our few Mongols’ project team handed over 1000 photographs of their journey to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today, on April 8. The project is aimed at documenting the unique features of the 21st-century Mongolia such as the nature, wildlife, folk art, lifestyle, customs and ethnic groups in audio, video, image and text content forms.

During the ceremony, Foreign Minister D.Tsogtbaatar delivered remarks, saying “Life in Mongolia is a prideful thing. We have been living in the harsh climate conditions over several thousand years, developing the nomadic lifestyle. We are one of the few nations who have had the greatest influence on world history. So it is obvious how important the ‘Our few Mongols’ project initiated by M.Zorigt is. We all should be grateful to the project team and the Ministry will continue supporting the project.”

The project is being implemented jointly with ‘Munkhchuluun Foundation’, Mongolian National Broadcaster and Unitel Group. ‘Our few Mongols’ will be implemented in 21 aimags, about 400 towns, over 1000 sub-districts and also reach Mongolian expats abroad.
