PM receives World Bank representatives

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh received representatives of the World Bank (WB) Country Director for Mongolia Martin Raiser, WB Country Manager for Mongolia Andrei Mikhnev, IFC Country Representative Rufat Alimardanov and WB Senior Economist for Mongolia Jean-Pascal.
During the meeting, PM U.Khurelsukh briefed current state of economy, priority directions of Government policies and progress of the Extended Fund Facility Program jointly implementing with the International Monetary Fund and stressed the importance of diversifying economy and backing development of non-mining sectors for the further prosperity of Mongolia.
Expressing his delight at appointment as Country Director for Mongolia, Mr. M.Raiser expressed to support the Government’s policies in directions of diversifying economy, ensuring budget accountability, transparency, and macroeconomic stability.
