Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On December 27th, Parliament member D.Terbishdagva and Head of Standing committee on Social Policy, Education, Culture and Science  Yo.Baatarbileg visited schools and kindergartens in Songinokhairkhan district.

First off, they visited School N.134 and Kindergarten N.215. During the visit, director of school N134 B.Narangerel mentioned her plan to increase the number of school shifts due to low number of students per class.  She expressed the need for a school bus, as many children live far from the school. In addition, request for additional educational supplies was made for development of teachers’ knowledge and skills, as well as improvement of curriculums.

Later, the MPs stopped at kindergarten no. 170. The kindergarten is operating with 78 teachers and workers  to provide pre-school education to over 800 children. Director Kh.Barnam noted that their curriculum is the result of five year research with a purpose to hand down Mongolian heritage including traditional customs, games, clothing and cattle breeding to younger generations.

The officials finished their trip after visiting School N.76, as reported by the Parliament’s Media and Public Relations Department.
