The campaign started with national training on Radiation Control over Natural Radioactivity, which will be held on September 25-29, at the Nuclear Energy Commission. The training is being conducted by two experts from Australia.
According to international standards for radiation control, particular attention is paid to mining sites of phosphate and coal deposits and oil drilling. In Mongolia coal mines are under regular control and radiation exposure is at normal level there. In terms of oil, it is just developing and a promising sector, attention should be paid from now on, noted experts.
