Strengthening University Cooperation between Mongolia and Saxony, Germany

Ulaanbaatar, November 9, 2023 /MONTSAME. Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Mongolia Ganbayar Ganbold met with Andreas Handschuh, State Secretary at the Saxon State Ministry of Science, Culture and Tourism.
At the meeting, the two sides affirmed their commitment to
deepen cooperation between Mongolia and Saxony in higher education and science
and improve collaboration between universities.
As part of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of
diplomatic relations between the two countries the Government of Mongolia is to
declare 2024 as the Mongolian-German Education Cooperation Year.
Dr. Andreas Handschuh is visiting Mongolia for the first
time together with the representatives from ten Saxon universities arrived
to participate in the Saxony Education Day Fair.
The
Saxony Education Day Fair will be held on November 11 from 11:00-16:00 at the
Diamond Department of the Blue Sky Hotel. During the event, visitors will have
an opportunity to learn about the study programs and activities of Saxony
universities, as well as see the national art of Saxony.
